Tread Lightly!

Tread Lightly! is a non-profit organization offering educational material, training courses, restoration opportunities, communication pieces and a variety of tools to help arm recreationists with a set of outdoor ethics.

Tread Lightly! offers specific ways to minimize impact when four-wheeling, off-highway motorcycling, mountain biking, geocaching, riding an ATV, hunting with an ATV, snowmobiling, camping, fishing, boating, hunting, horseback riding, backcountry skiing, hiking, sand duning and using a personal watercraft. In Indonesia, similar efforts are being built by 4-Wheel Adventure Indonesia to pioneer the Friend of Nature program so called the "Sahabat Alam" in Bahasa Indonesia. The effort would initiate a nationwide nature preservation movement related to outdoor lifestyle of people in Indonesia.
